Our faculty was established as affiliated to Çankırı Karatekin University with the decision of the Council of Ministers numbered 2010/560 published in the Official Gazette dated 01 July 2010 and numbered 27628.
The proposal to open Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Food Engineering Departments and related departments within our faculty was accepted at the Council of Higher Education Executive Meeting dated 29.09.2010. The proposal for the opening of Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Departments and departments affiliated to these departments was accepted at the Council of Higher Education Executive Meeting dated 23.03.2016.
